Code Enforcement and Ordinances

The Code Enforcement Office is responsible for the review of applications, issuance of permits, and inspection of properties for compliance with the City’s building codes and ordinance.

All residential property inspections (Rentals and Purchases) will be conducted during the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm. All inspections will be by appointment only. The appointment for inspections generally will be made for the following week. Purchases are $100 per unit and Rentals are $75 per unit.  There will be not be a fee for the first re-inspection.

All commercial building inspections will be conducted by Building Inspections Underwriting, Inc. (BIU) as the City's 3rd party vendor.  Please contact the Code Enforcement department with any inquiries.
