Garbage Collection Reminder During Extreme Weather

For the safety and well-being of our Public Works employees, residents are asked to place their garbage at the curb the evening before their scheduled collection day whenever high temperatures, Air Quality/Ozone Action Days, or inclement weather are forecast.

Beginning collection earlier allows our crews to complete their routes before the most hazardous weather conditions develop, helping to reduce the risk of heat-related illness and other weather-related hazards.

Please note: If your garbage is not at the curb when our crews arrive, it will not be collected later that day and must wait until your next regularly scheduled collection day.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep both our residents and City employees safe.

Alzheimer Support is a free service that assists Arnold families who have loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Through our free search tool and database of Alzheimer’s care facilities, families in need of care for their loved ones can locate licensed care homes and communities in the Arnold area that are best equipped to provide care for their loved ones.
